Unions recommence talks with An Post but strike remains likely
04/11/2005 - 15:36:30Unions and management at An Post re-entered talks this afternoon in a last ditch bid to avert strike action.
The discussions are being chaired by the National Implementation Body.
It is understood that there is very little hope of a resolution and the strike looks likely to go ahead.
The Communications Workers Union has yet to outline what form industrial action will take, but it is expected to severely disrupt postal services.
