October one of worst months on record for road deaths
04/11/2005 - 11:48:07October was one of the worst months on record for roads deaths in Ireland, according to the National Safety Council.
The organisation said 43 people lost their lives in road accidents during the month, bringing the total number of deaths so far this year to 324.
This is seven more than the number of fatalities in the same period in 2004.
