Diamond polishing plant opens in Angola
04/11/2005 - 15:25:58Production started today at Angola’s new diamond polishing factory, said to be Africa’s largest and most modern.
The plant is to cut and polish about €15m of Angolan rough gems each month, officials said.
The factory was inaugurated last night by President Jose Eduardo dos Santos and employs about 600 workers.
