Two more men arrested over £26m Belfast bank heist
Police in the North have arrested two more men in connection with last year's £26.5m (€38m) bank heist in Belfast.
The men, aged 40 and 43, were arrested overnight in the Co Tyrone towns of Dungannon and Coalisland.
Three other men also remain in PSNI custody after being arrested earlier this week in connection with last December's raid.
Two men in their 20s were detained at their homes in Kilcoo, Co Down, on Tuesday night, while another man in his 30s was detained in Belfast yesterday.
Nobody has yet been charged in connection with the massive robbery at Northern Bank headquarters, which the PSNI has blamed on the Provisional IRA.
The parents of one of the men arrested on Tuesday night have insisted that their son has no political involvement and have accused the PSNI of carrying out the arrests as part of a show for the media.
