Quiet morning sees ISEQ up 19 points

Dublin's stock exchange was quiet this morning with only a few companies making double-digit moves.

By 11am, the ISEQ was up 19.66 to 6,665.84.

Paddy Power recorded the highest rise of the morning, up 25c to €13.85, while building material group CRH was close behind on a 21c increase to €21.80.

Telecommunications firm, Eircom, climbed 12c to €2.21, but food company Kerry Group tumbled 21c to €17.85.

The financials also experienced falls with AIB down four cents to €17.51 and Anglo Irish Bank 11c lower at €11.28. Both Bank of Ireland and Irish Life and Permanent were unchanged at €12.77 and €14.65 respectively.
