Derry keep pressure on Cork after win at UCD

Goals early and late from Stephen O’Flynn and Barry Molloy kept Derry hot on the heels of leaders Cork with this win at Belfield.
O’Flynn settled Derry’s nerves with the lead on 13 minutes, skipping by UCD captain Tony McDonnell from the left to beat Darren Quigley with a right foot shot.
Pat McWalter hit the bar before the break as College came within inches of levelling.
Derry then had to wait until the final minute for Molloy to seal it when rifling home from the edge of the area after a corner wasn’t fully cleared.
