Road accidents claim third fatality in 24 hours

A 28-year-old man has been killed in a single-vehicle car crash in Co Cork.

The man died when the car in which he was a passenger struck a ditch.

The accident happened just after midnight in the Riverstick area of the county.

The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries.
