Thompson missing for Hoops
28/10/2005 - 14:30:06Celtic will be without the suspended Alan Thompson for Sunday’s Bank of Scotland Premier League trip to Dundee United.
But manager Gordon Strachan will be able to field Craig Beattie after a recent rib injury and John Hartson, despite the striker picking up a foot knock in training on Friday.
Strachan, who is also without Poland international striker Maciej Zurawski with a hamstring injury, is unlikely to make too many changes after beating Motherwell 5-0 in midweek.
