Brighton to get new stadium
28/10/2005 - 10:44:08Brighton have been given the green light on planning permission for a new stadium.
The Seagulls have been homeless for eight seasons and were forced to play their matches at an ill-suited athletics track at nearby Withdean.
The Championship strugglers can now begin planning for a future in a 23,000-seater venue.
