Man arrested in connection with body found in Dublin
28/10/2005 - 15:30:11A man in his fifties was arrested this afternoon in connection with the murder of a woman whose body was found dumped on Dublin's Mercer Street earlier this week. He has been taken to Harcourt Terrace Garda Station.
The woman has not yet been formally identified, but she's believed to have been the owner of a nearby shop – it hasn’t opened since the murder and she hasn’t been seen.
The body was found wrapped in a blanket and tied with a rope – she had sustained serious head injuries.
