Most modern Mexican movies are heavy on sex, violence, pounding music and the age-old battle between rich and poor, and director Reygadaz brings all this to his warm-hearted film set in modern Mexico.
The battles are the ones we all fight - if less passionately - but there's much, much more to this dramatically engaging film.
