An Post management accuses workers of sabotage

Another row has broken out between workers and management at An Post.

Management has accused workers of sabotaging the postal system in an effort to turn public opinion against the company.

According to management, delivery drivers are deliberately getting lost, and absenteeism has risen to 24% in some areas.

Communications Worker's Union General Secretary Steve Fitzpatrick dismissed the allegations as false.

“I genuinely believe that the company will never survive if it gets to the stage where management keep attacking us without any proof to back up their assertions,” he said.
