Hundreds attend Liam Lawlor’s funeral
27/10/2005 - 12:42:01Hundreds of mourners have gathered in Lucan, Dublin for the funeral of Liam Lawlor.
The former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds and former government press secretary and political lobbyist, Frank Dunlop were amongst those in attendance from the political sector.
The chief mourners, Mr Lawlor’s widow Hazel and his three sons and daughter, followed the former Fianna Fáil TD’s coffin into St Patrick’s Church.
Bertie Ahern is in London to meet EU heads of State, but his Aide de Camp, Michael Murray is there to represent him.
