Janet rumoured to have secret daughter
25/10/2005 - 15:06:20A fresh scandal is threatening to engulf the superstar Jackson clan with reports youngest sister Janet has a secret teenage daughter called Renee.
The singer's former brother-in-law, Young DeBarge, whose brother James was married to Janet from 1984 to 1985, claims Renee, now 18, was sent away to live with the star's eldest sister, Rebbie.
DeBarge added that Renee "is a wonderful singer".
Janet's spokeswoman Patti Webster refused to deny the allegations, saying the singer wouldn't comment.
Janet and James DeBarge were married for less than three months when she was just 18.
The marriage was annulled a year later. She secretly married Rene Elizondo Jr in 1991.
They separated in 1999. She is now dating US rapper Jermaine Dupri.
