Robbie Doyle eased St Pat’s nerves with a late equaliser to prevent them dropping into the bottom two of the Premier Division.
Blues firstly punished Saints to take the lead from their fifth corner on 19 minutes.
Kevin Waters crossed back into the area after his flag kick had been cleared and Vinny Sullivan scored with a stunning first-time volley.
But Saints ran the second half and finally levelled on 86 minutes when Doyle latched onto Barry Prenderville’s long ball to score with an equally spectacular volley.
