Bassey, Church top Royal Variety Performance bill
21/10/2005 - 14:19:07Shirley Bassey and Charlotte Church will top the bill at this year's Royal Variety Performance in Cardiff.
The Welsh superstars will perform for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at the Wales Millennium Centre next month.
It will come four months after Bassey said Church had "let herself down" by binge drinking. They will be joined on the bill by Cliff Richard - 46 years after his first Royal Variety Performance - as well as Will Young, Il Divo, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and pop group McFly.
The performance will take place on November 21 and will raise money for the Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund.
