FA charge for Claret Hyde
20/10/2005 - 12:14:50Burnley midfielder Micah Hyde has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association in connection with an incident which followed the 2-1 defeat by Leeds.
United midfielder Shaun Derry needed five stitches in a gash above his left eye after players clashed in the tunnel at Turf Moor in the aftermath of Saturday’s match.
The incident was included in the referee’s report and the FA are to continue with their investigation, which also involves the police, while 30-year-old Hyde has until November 2 to respond.
