Drogs striker O'Brien 'not considering future' yet

Drogheda United striker Declan O'Brien insists he will not consider his future until the season is over.

O'Brien is preparing for Drogheda's FAI Cup semi-final clash with Bray Wanderers on Sunday though rumours persist that he is set to leave Drogheda for Bohemians at the end of the season.

However, O'Brien has dismissed the rumours insisting that he has not yet made up his mind about his future.

O’Brien said: “At the moment, all I’m thinking about is the semi-final with Bray and the rest of the season. At the end of the season, I’ll sit down and think about everything. I’ll definitely talk to the club but I don’t know what will happen.

“I’ve heard all the talk about me going here and there. People are saying I want to go part-time again but I don’t know where those stories are coming from. I’m not thinking about it at the moment because we’ve got important games coming up.”
