Britain signs deportation deal with Libya
18/10/2005 - 16:44:22A deal has been signed with Libya allowing the UK to deport foreign terror suspects without fear of them being mistreated.
The move follows a similar agreement with Jordan.
Under international convention, the British government can't send people back to a country where they might face inhuman or degrading treatment.
