McCann nears comeback
18/10/2005 - 13:52:03Aston Villa midfielder Gavin McCann is edging closer to full fitness and will play for the reserves against Leeds on Wednesday.
McCann is making good progress after suffering a knee injury at the start of September and could play some part in Saturday’s home match with Wigan if he comes through unscathed.
Mark Delaney will also play as he continues his comeback from a knee injury.
