Angry Kiwi ref suspended after Horgan outburst
18/10/2005 - 10:33:37Ireland's Shane Horgan has played a part, albeit an innocent one, in the sidelining of New Zealand referee Steve Walsh by the IRB.
Walsh lashed out verbally at Horgan during the Lions clash with Taranaki in June and the IRB will keep him away from international duty unitl February.
Walsh said: "That's the way it is and I have to get on with my life."
Walsh has shown himself to be confrontational in the past. He was suspended for a run-in with England fitness trainer Dave Reddin at the 2003 World Cup.
