18/10/2005 - 14:17:13
Minister for Justice Michael McDowell has said a Nigerian woman and her four-year-old twins, one of whom is believed to be autistic, will remain in Ireland despite plans to deport them.

Mr McDowell has arranged for a stay to be put on Olivia Agbon Lahor's deportation as she is waiting for expert medical assessment for her son, Great, who may be suffering from autism.

Ms Lahor has been living in Clonakilty, Co Cork, with her family for the past two years.
