Charlton missed the chance to climb to second place in the Premiership after Fulham battled to earn a point at The Valley.
Dutch striker Collins John drilled in Steed Malbranque’s cross on 28 minutes to put the visitors ahead after the home side had dominated the opening exchanges, with winger Dennis Rommedahl hitting the post early on.
Danny Murphy drew Charlton level immediately after the restart, but the Addicks could not find a winner.
