Man killed in road accident involving cow

A 42 year old man has died after a road collision in County Limerick.

His motorbike collided with a cow at Barnagh near Newcastle West at one o'clock this morning.

His body has been taken to Limerick Regional Hospital, where a post mortem will be carried out.

Meanwhile, Gardaí have named the 32 year old passenger who died in yesterday’s single vehicle road accident at Skerries Road in north Dublin.

Janusz Szostakiewiez was originally from Poland and had been living in Balbriggan in Dublin.
