Harney agrees to meet Phyllis Hughes
17/10/2005 - 17:21:09The Tánaiste and Minister for Health Mary Harney has agreed to meet with Patrick Walsh's sister following his tragic death.
The 70-year-old bled to death after Monaghan Hospital was unable to carry out emergency surgery on his bleeding ulcer.
Ms Harney said that the investigation is now in the hands of the Health Service Executive, but that she will meet with Phyllis Hughes to discuss the issues.
