Cork gardaí seek taxi driver witness in murder probe

Detectives investigating the murder of a Lithuanian man in Cork claim that a cab driver may have information vital to the case.

Local gardaí think a red taxi may have picked up two passengers on Lower Glanmire Road on Sunday, October 9 between 4pm and 5pm.

The cabbie is being asked to come forward.

A post mortem found the victim, who was discovered lying outside an apartment, died from head injuries.
