Cocaine seized at Cork Airport
17/10/2005 - 18:11:05Customs officers tonight seized cocaine with a street value of €480,000 at Cork Airport.
The drugs were discovered in the bags of a 41-year-old British man who had arrived on a flight from Nigeria via Amsterdam to Cork.
The six kilos of cocaine were hidden inside specially constructed compartments.
Gardaí in Cork were tonight questioning the man about the seizure.
