Farrell's fall from bathroom window
17/10/2005 - 12:16:56Colin Farrell has come clean about the accident that almost brought filming of Oliver Stone's flop epic Alexander to a halt - he drunkenly jumped out of a window.
The Irishman previously claimed he broke his ankle and wrist after falling down some stairs at a cast party staged by co-star Val Kilmer, but the truth is tougher to believe.
He recalls: "I fell much farther."
In retracing his drunken steps from the night before after waking in pain in a tent in the middle of a field, he realised he leaped from a bathroom window.
He adds: "I remember Denis (Conway - co-star) saying: 'I think you jumped.'"
