Ireland in fourth group of seeds for Euro 2008 qualifiers

Ireland have been seeded amongst the fourth group of teams ahead of the draw for the Euro 2008 qualifiers.

The move means Ireland will be in pot four when the draw takes place in January and will be grouped with three teams ranked among the higher seeds

Defending champions Greece are top seeds along with Holland, Portugal, England, the Czech Republic, France and Sweden.

Ireland are joined in pot four by Scotland, while Northern Ireland are among the seventh group of teams.
