Wallace & Gromit will entertain the whole family

Five years in the making; taking up a shooting schedule of a full day to get a few seconds of completed film; and it’s welcome back to the Oscar-laden, cheese-loving partnership of Wallace and Gromit.
The recent tragic fire at the makers’ Bristol studio which destroyed the archive collection of all the previous films has been happily followed by the success of this latest adventure of the Plasticine characters; who come with a gang of mad rabbits out to destroy the local vegetable competition.
It’s a witty, funny, brilliantly-made charmer. This time W&G have been taken up by the Hollywood DreamWorks Studio, which made the runaway hit Shrek. But the cosy English North Country dry humour hasn’t been lost in translation.
It’s a delight, as you would expect.
