Union welcomes ruling against Ryanair
14/10/2005 - 15:35:59The IMPACT trade union has welcoming today’s ruling by the High Court against Ryanair as a victory for workers rights.
Earlier today, Ryanair lost an application to overturn a Labour Court decision which determined that a trade dispute existed between the company and its Dublin-based pilots.
Ryanair said it would appeal the decision to the Supreme Court.
Speaking this afternoon, IMPACT representative Bernard Harbor said his members felt vindicated by the ruling.
