Govt advised to make it harder for people to retire early

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has reportedly advised the Government to make it more difficult for people to retire early.

Reports this morning said the call was contained in an OECD report that also says Irish people should be allowed to work until the age of 85 if they want to.

The recommendations are reportedly designed to counteract a potential "pensions timebomb" in Ireland.
