O’Connor and McGuigan win GAA Player of Month awards
10/10/2005 - 10:38:44Cork hurler Ben O'Connor and Tyrone footballer Brian McGuigan have been named as the GAA All-Star Players of the Month for September.
Both players produced impressive performances to help their counties win the All-Ireland hurling and football titles last month.
O'Connor scored 1-7 in Cork's victory over Galway, while McGuigan's three points were a major contribution in Tyrone's win over Kerry.
