Ireland to donate a further €2m for earthquake relief in Asia
10/10/2005 - 15:15:40The Government is pledging an extra €2m to the Asian earthquake appeal.
That brings the total amount they plan to donate to the stricken region to €3m.
The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern made the announcement in Tallaght this afternoon, where he launched a 10-year strategy on child welfare.
