10/10/2005 - 11:13:56The Irish Aviation Authority is investigating the engine failure that led to a Ryanair jet making an emergency landing in Shannon last Friday.
The London-bound aircraft had taken off from Knock with 99 passengers and five crew on board when the engine failed around half an hour into the flight.
The plane touched down safely at Shannon just after 7pm on Friday.
