Weekend road death toll rises to eight
09/10/2005 - 10:51:57The death of a man in road accident in Co Donegal in the early hours of this morning has brought the number of deaths on the roads this weekend to eight.
The latest accident occurred at the Burnfoot Road in Muff at approximately 3.30am, when a car went out of control and hit a ditch.
The five other occupants of the car were also injured, but none of their injuries is life-threatening.
This accident occurred just a few miles from the place where five young people were killed in another accident yesterday morning.
