Reid expected to be fully fit for crucial Cyprus tie
07/10/2005 - 14:21:53Ireland manager Brian Kerr has said he expects Steven Reid to be fully fit for tomorrow night's crucial World Cup qualifier against Cyprus.
Reid has been nursing a foot injury, but Kerr told reporters in Limassol that he expected the player to train this evening and be fully fit for selection tomorrow.
He also said minor injuries to Damien Duff and Stephen Carr were causing no worries for the Irish camp.
Ireland need to beat the Cypriots tomorrow and the Swiss next week to be in with a chance of reaching the play-offs for the World Cup finals.
