Ireland continue preparations for Cyrpus showdown
07/10/2005 - 08:27:04Ireland are due to continue their preparations for Saturday's crucial showdown with Cyprus today.
Brian Kerr's men are due to hold a training session in Limassol this morning and another session in the match stadium later tonight.
Ireland need to beat Cyrpus and also secure a win against Switzerland next week to be in with a chance of reaching the play-offs for the World Cup finals.
The situation has put Kerr under massive pressure, with most commentators believing his future as Irish manager rests on winning the two games.
