Mullins reappointed Galway U21 boss
06/10/2005 - 23:11:08Vincent Mullins' re-appointment as manager of the the Galway U21 hurlers has been confirmed by the Tribesmen's county board.
The Ardrahan clubman guided the county's youngsters to a famous one-point win over champions Kilkenny in last month's All-Ireland U21 final, which was Galway's eighth title at the grade, and their first since 1996.
Meanwhile, it is unclear as to whether another of Galway's All-Ireland winning managers, minor boss Mattie Murphy, will be seeking another term in charge.
Murphy, who has managed Galway's minors to four All-Ireland wins (1992, 1994, 2004 and 2005), has asked for more time to weigh up his options for next season.
