Ireland to train in Cyprus ahead of crucial qualifier
06/10/2005 - 08:59:19The Irish soccer squad are due to hold a training session in Limassol today as part of their preparations for Saturday's crucial World Cup qualifier against Cyprus.
Ireland need to win the match and must also beat Switzerland next week to be in with a hope of reaching the play-offs.
Gary Breen did not travel to Cyprus with the squad yesterday as he is nursing a calf injury, but manager Brian Kerr has no other injuries to worry about.
