Easterby breaks jaw

05/10/2005 - 10:02:05
It has been confirmed that Leinster and Ireland scrum-half Guy Easterby broke his jaw in the Celtic League win over previously unbeaten Ulster at Donnybrook last saturday.

He will be out of action for six weeks and will miss Leinster's first two Heineken Cup matches and Ireland's three November Internationals.

Brian O'Meara and Brian O'Riordan are the next two in line for game time at Leinster and Ulster's Kieran Campbell should be involved as Peter Stringer's understudy with Ireland.
