FF Senator proposes measure to ease childcare problems
05/10/2005 - 13:35:27A Fianna Fáil Senator is planning to introduce a bill in the Seanad to help parents experiencing difficulties with childcare costs.
Senator Mary White said the bill would give certain parents a legal right to work from home where practicable.
She said parents with children under the age or a disabled child under the age of 18 should also be legally entitled to negotiate flexible working hours with their employers.
