Six arrested after separate cocaine seizures in Dublin
04/10/2005 - 09:59:17Gardaí in Dublin have arrested six people following two separate overnight cocaine seizures in the city.
Two women in their 20s were arrested in the Ballymun area during a follow-up search linked to the discovery of 15 kilos of the drug at Dublin Airport.
The cocaine - worth up to €1.5m - was found hidden in baggage at the airport at around 10pm.
Meanwhile, three men in their 20s and 30s and an 18-year-old woman were arrested after a raid on what gardaí described as a crack cocaine distribution centre in the Phibsboro area.
Almost one kilo of the drug was found during the raid.
The four people in garda custody are all Nigerian nationals.
