ISEQ continues to gain
04/10/2005 - 17:45:04The ISEQ index edged towards the 6900 mark today, gaining 50.35 to close at 6891.29.
Construction company CRH continued in the same good form as it showed yesterday rising a further 45c to €23.22.
The financials had a particularly strong day. Irish Life and Permanent rose 19c to €15.19. AIB rose 15c to €17.95 and Anglo Irish Bank rose 12c to €11.37. Bank of Ireland rose 4c to €13.24.
Pharmaceutical giant Elan was also on the up, gaining 13c to €7.15.
