Govt under fire over suspension of PPARS computer system
04/10/2005 - 07:58:20Fine Gael has attacked the Government over the controversial €150m computerised payroll system in the health service.
Reports this morning said the roll-out of the PPARS system was set to be halted due to concerns about its quality and value for money.
Fine Gael has vowed to launch a Dáil attack on the Government over the amount of money that has been wasted on the system.
Speaking about the matter this morning, party leader Enda Kenny said it was evidence of "complete and utter incompetence and reckless spending with the public's money".
