Gunners face tests
30/09/2005 - 14:38:17Arsenal will give fitness tests to Gilberto and Dennis Bergkamp ahead of Sunday’s game against Birmingham at Highbury.
Bergkamp is rated at “80-20” to recover from back and groin injuries but should still only make the substitutes bench for the Barclays Premiership match.
Gilberto, meanwhile, has a “little chance” of recovery, according to boss Arsene Wenger, while Philippe Senderos and Thierry Henry are still out.
Provisional squad: Lehmann, Almunia, Lauren, Eboue, Cole, Clichy, Campbell, Toure, Cygan, Gilberto, Flamini, Fabregas, Song, Pires, Ljungberg, Hleb, Reyes, Bergkamp, Van Persie, Owusu-Abeyie.
