Derry aim for 24 games unbeaten
30/09/2005 - 10:40:25Derry City will be hoping to go clear at the top of the Premier Division by making it 24 games unbeaten when the take on Shelbourne at the Brandywell.
With Cork not in action until Sunday, Derry can go clear at the top of the table, admittedly having played two games more, but they will have to beat an in form Shelbourne team looking to make it six wins in a row.
Derry are at full strength with Eddie McCallion and Gareth McGlynn both pressing for places in the first XI.
Shelbourne will welcome back first choice midfield duo Stuart Byrne (suspended last week) and Alan Reynolds (hamstring) though both may have to settle for places on the bench.
