Poll: 93% of voters believe prices are rip-off

An overwhelming majority of voters believe they are being ripped off on prices, according to an opinion poll published this morning.

Nine-three per cent of respondents to the poll said they felt they were being ripped off, with just 5% disagreeing.

This perception is spread across all regions, social classes and age groups.

Petrol and diesel, household fuels and groceries were named by the largest number of respondents as the areas in which they believed they were being ripped off the most.
