Pipeline protestors slam council in posters row

Opponents of the Corrib gas pipeline in Co Mayo have criticised Dublin City Council for refusing them permission to erect posters.

The Shell to Sea campaign said it had repeatedly been refused permission to put up posters for a demonstration in support of the so-called Rossport Five.

It said no reason had been given for the refusals and accused Dublin City Council of interfering with people's right to free speech and expression.
