ISPCA receives complaints about dyeing of farm animals
22/09/2005 - 12:27:16The Kerry branch of the ISPCA has received 43 complaints in relation to a local farmer's decision to dye his animals in the county colours.
Killarney farmer Brendan O'Connor has dyed two cows, 30 ducks, 10 sheep and a number of goats and geese in the green and gold of Kerry ahead of this Sunday's All-Ireland final.
Mr O'Connor has insisted that the dye is completely safe and washes off in a few days.
